Ko is a native Japanese vocal coach who specializes in teaching English speakers to sing Japanese songs such as J-Pop, anime, and Vocaloid.
Ko has taught over 500 students in the past 10 years, and helped many V-tubers, anime/Idol singers, and Utaite from all over the world since he is the only certified* Japanese vocal coach in the world who can teach how to sing native-level Japanese songs to English speakers.
As a native Japanese speaker and a professional voice teacher, Ko has helped many students to sing with unique J-Pop techniques, and with natural Japanese pronunciations.
Through his lessons, not only can students learn to sing with correct Japanese pronunciations, but also can learn to sing with a character voice, fronted nasal tone, and unique J-Pop style.

ABOUT THE STUDIO AND ONLINE LESSONS
We currently offer online Voice lessons so you can take lessons from the comfort of your own home. As technologies are more advanced than they used to be, the quality of online lessons has improved dramatically over the past 10 years.
Due to Covid-19, all of our in-person students moved to online lessons but more and more people like online lessons since it works so well and they can learn how to sing from the comfort of their own homes.
All the instructions on how to take lessons online will be included in the confirmation email sent out to you once your booking has confirmed.
