Mission & Values

Taking voice lessons have changed my life in many ways. I was a really shy Japanese guy who didn’t know much about how to communicate with other people before I start taking lessons. Learning to sing with Certified voice teachers not only improved my singing skills but helped me to open up myself in front of others.
Love

We respect that every student is on their own personal journey in singing and music. We embrace all-level of singers from those who are trying to match pitches to those who are mastering riffs and runs. We support our students by answering any questions about techniques that students have during lessons and providing the best solutions possible to make the positive change in their voice.
Growth

Your Voice is your personality. Everyone has grown up in different cultures and maybe with different languages. In our lessons, we may ask you to sing the way that you’ve never sang before which gives you a totally new sensation. Disintegrating the bad old habits and building new positive ways of singing give you a chance to broaden your horizon. We believe that voice training is not only about learning how to sing. Through Voice lessons, I help my students to learn how to express their emotion and thoughts through singing and learn how to be confident in singing.
Wisdom

At KVS, we believe that mastering vocal techniques help you sing with one's soul’s free expressions. Years of learning vocal science and teaching vocal techniques using IVA method to serve students in Vancouver, Ko has learnt to bring out the true voice out of every singer. He brings his years of experience as a singer and songwriter to every lesson, connecting with students at every stage of their development as vocalists and artists.
Fun

We think that if you are having fun, practicing does not feel like practicing. At KVS, we make our lessons as fun as possible so our students can take what they learn home and be obsessed with the tailored exercises. During our lessons, we provide the best exercises possible to move our students forward to the next stage. Experiencing the vocal break through often makes our students want to practice even harder at home so they can feel the same sensations when they come back for the next lesson.
